About 1066 Business

1066 Business is a non-profit making organisation:  income is used to benefit members with subsidised exhibitions, social events, an ever growing web site and Networking Forum. Formed, in 1992, to help new and existing local business to network and grow, the club is now embracing the latest technology and widespread use of the Web  to bring its members a unique service - from the comfort of your own office!

Membership of the club will automatically include your online directory entry plus your own business web page, regular mail-shots keeping you up to date on issues which affect your business, unlimited access to the resources available on the site and collective promotion to the major search engines. Furthermore, by working together in a virtual environment, we can all benefit from time saved and direct, relevant connections with potential customers and suppliers, and information providers.

This website has been set up as a "shop window" for all business in Hastings and the surrounding area to promote networking and facilitate knowledge sharing among business people. However it is here to be shaped and developed in accordance with the needs and wishes of members and to reflect the character of the local business community.

Whatever you do 1066 Business is for you - all we ask is that you do business in the 1066 area; you do not have to be based here. We particularly welcome those new to business.
